CAVED
This was my final project as a student at HKU. For my graduation project, I focused on translating the South African fairy tale 'Demane & Demazana' into an interactive tragedy.
In this fairy tale adaptation called 'Caved', the player helps the girl, Demazana, who has lost her memory and is looking for her brother. The player gets to decide what she remembers and what part of her memory will be lost forever. By deciding to remember dark memories will surface. Memories no child should have to live with but would it be worth forgetting someone dear to her to save her soul?
My Role
My main role for Caved was creative direction.
I was responsible for the narrative design, development, lighting, cinematics, and UI.
